Dr. Robin Sankey

Veterinarian

Dr. Sankey is a board-certified veterinary ophthalmologist (DACVO) and serves as Medical Director of NHVO, where she leads the team in delivering compassionate, advanced medical and surgical care for a wide range of ocular conditions using state-of-the-art diagnostic technology. She is dedicated to providing exceptional care while fostering strong relationships with clients and patients. Outside of work, Dr. Sankey enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active in her church community, crafting, and all things Tex-Mex.

Dr. Sankey earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University in 2001. Following graduation, she owned and operated a small animal practice in New Mexico for 13 years, gaining extensive experience in general veterinary medicine and building lasting relationships with clients and their pets. Driven by a passion for advanced care, Dr. Sankey later pursued a residency in ophthalmology, ultimately becoming board certified as a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists.

Dr. Robin Sankey currently serves as the Medical Director at North Houston Veterinary Ophthalmology, where she is dedicated to delivering exceptional specialty care and advancing the field through collaboration and education.

With a deep commitment to the human-animal bond, Dr. Sankey values the unique role ophthalmology plays in both vision health and the diagnosis of systemic disease. She is passionate about educating pet owners, fellow veterinarians, and future veterinary professionals, and strives to provide the highest level of care for every patient.

Outside of professional life, Dr. Sankey enjoys spending quality time with her husband and daughters, staying active in the church community, and connecting with friends and family. She also has a love for crafting, which provides a creative and relaxing outlet.
